Welcome back to Out and About … where you can find out what’s happening in our community! This week’s featured event: The 9th annual Humble ISD Education Foundation Gala will be Friday, April 3, at the Humble Civic Center. This year’s theme is “Bikers and Bling…Hog Wild for Education”! Guests are encouraged to dress in biker attire (should I say, “Biker Gala”)? The gala committee works hard each year to present a unique and enjoyable venue for the event. This will be a fun evening, with a great dinner buffet catered by Trigg’s, entertainment and super, live and silent auctions. All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Innovative Education Grant Program. Table sponsorships are $2,000 to $10,000, with individual seating for $100 per person. Last year, school projects received grants totaling $286,961. Let’s exceed that this year!
